Number of Companies with International Capital
As of the end of 2010, more than 25,800 companies with foreign capital were operating in Turkey. Two-thirds of them were established in the last seven years.

Breakdown of Companies with International Capital by Sector
The majority of the companies with international capital are in the wholesale and retail trade sectors while this is followed by manufacturing, real estate, renting and other business activities.
Textile goods production leads the manufacturing sector investments followed by chemicals and chemical products, food products and the beverage sector.
